International on-demand ride-sharing company, Uber, today launched its services in the Capital City, enabling consumers in the city to book rides on UberGO by downloading the Uber app. With this launch, Uber has expanded its services to 40 cities across the country.
The UberGo service will offer riders in Ranchi low cost, speedy and utilitarian solution to get around the city quickly and will help deliver a stress-free alternative for daily commuters.
Commenting on the Ranchi launch, which comes almost two years after Uber launched operations in Lucknow, Prabhjeet Singh, Head of Cities, Uber India & South Asia, said, “We as a team are extremely excited to be in Ranchi and look forward to providing reliable and affordable transportation options to the riders in the city.
