A youth, Anurag Patnaik, on his birth anniversary organised a blood donation camp at the Kalyan Mandap here on Wednesday. A total of 54 units of blood were collected sent to the Nabarangpur Blood Bank.
Inaugurating the camp, local Tehsildar Dharamraj Majhi said, “Blood donation is the biggest example of charity.” Umarkote SDPO Hemanta Padhy said, “We can protect lives by donating blood.” Among others, Dr Susant Rahul, Dr Sabyasachi Dash, Dr Debabrata Dakua, Blood Bank staffs and friends of Anurag were present.
