‘Reading habit has no substitute'

Thursday, 19 November 2020 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

There is no substitute of reading habit as it connects the individuals with the whole world and serves great enlightenment.

The present generation should develop the habit for their all round development, opined eminent writer Rajyabardhan Dhal Mahapatra while joining at the Meet the Author programme at the DAV Public School Chandrasekharpur commemorating National Book Week on Tuesday.

Dhal Mahapatra cited many examples from our rich mythology and world literature to enthral the teaching fraternity of the school.

Later the programme was shared with the  students and parents online. The meeting was chaired by Principal of the school Dr K C Satapathy who emphasised on inculcation of reading habit both for the teachers and students. Among others coordinator Indira Bhattacharya and chief librarian Pradip Kumar Panda were present on dais.
