On Monday, 45 fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported across Chhattisgarh while seven patients were discharged after their recovery, Health Department officials said.
Bilaspur was the hotspot with 11 cases from the district.
There were 9 cases in Jashpur, 5 each in Bemetara and Raigarh, 4 in Korba, 3 each in Raipur and Dhamtari, 2 in Mungeli, 1 each in Balod, Gariaband and Jagdalpur, Dr Akhilesh Tripathi from the state Covid-19 Control and Command Centre said.
Seven patients were discharged on Monday.
These include two patients (one each from Dhamtari and Mungeli) who were admitted in AIIMS Raipur. Likewise, 1 patient was released from Medical College Ambikapur, 1 from Mana Covid Hospital and 3 from Covid Hospital Bilaspur.
Currently there are 419 Covid-19 positive cases in Chhattisgarh. AIIMS Raipur has 104 patients, Covid Hospital Mana Raipur 92, Covid Hospital Bilaspur 49, Medical College Ambikapur 64, Medical College Raigarh 27, Rajnandgaon Medical College 38 and Jagdalpur Medical College has 5 patients, he said.
