In the weekly series 'Abhinayan',  the 'Chorache Chaturay' in Marathi tamasha style was broadcasted. It was featured at the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum YouTube Channel on Friday.

It was held  under the direction of Aatamber Shirdhonkar (Maharashtra).

Tamasha is mainly performed by the 'Kolhati' community of Maharashtra. No special stage is required for its presentation, it can also be done in an open space. In this presentation, the Lord Ganesha is worshiped first and then to Galwana / Goulniyar.

In the spectacle, a variety of verbal sarcasm and pseudo-questions are also contested by Natukani, Songadya and other characters.

At the end of it, there is always the message of victory of good over evil.

The main character of the play is a thief named Chandrakant, who is obsessed with making his son (Shankar) a thief. Chandrakant convinces his wife that he is thinking well for his son (Shankar) and that he should become a thief like me.

Therefore, after understanding the husband very much, the wife agrees.

After this, Chandrakant together with his son Shankar plans to steal the necklace of the king of his kingdom.

But when Chandrakant enters the king's room to steal the necklace, the king is awake and he cuts off Chandrakant's head with his sword. But Shankar runs away with his father's severed head. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the palace.

The king tells the decree in the state that the one who connects the head with this torso will be the most efficient thief of the state. But Shankar is smarter than the king and on the strength of his logical intelligence, he disguises himself as a monk and attaches the head to the head. Therefore, the king, impressed by his logical intelligence, appoints him the commander of his kingdom and with this the presentation ends.
