Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream project, ‘Abhyudaya Coaching Scheme’, is off to a flying start with a list of the first batch of over 50,000 students prepared on the basis of entrance examinations for the coaching classes.
A staggering number of over 36 lakh hits were clocked on the official website (www.abhyuday.gov.in) in four days of its launch with over 4.84 lakh students aspiring for competitive exams got registered. After shortlisting the students after an entrance test, as many as 50,192 students will start receiving coaching in physical classes from February 16.
The chief minister, under whose guidance the whole concept is seen on ground, will interact with some selected students virtually at a function on Monday where he will also announce the formal launch of ‘Abhyuday Coaching’ classes, a unique endeavour in its own right.
Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow and nodal officer of ‘Abhyuaday’ scheme Ranjan Kumar said the response of the scheme has been overwhelming as the message of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went down well among the aspirants.
The CM had envisaged to set up ‘Abhyudaya’ free coaching centres for aspiring candidates preparing to qualify UPSC, NEET, JEE (Mains and Advanced), CDS, NDA, and all other competitive exams.
The overwhelming response of the aspirants is understandable as the faculty for the direct counselling includes the big names of state bureaucracy like Chief Secretary RK Tiwari, Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Alok Sinha, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), MSME and Information Navneet Sehgal, ACS (CM) SP Goyal, Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Prasad, Principal Secretary (Medical Education) Alok Kumar and Secretaries to CM Alok Kumar and Surendra Singh, along with several other IAS, IPS and PCS officers. All the lectures and complete study material covering the entire syllabus of various examinations will also be made available online.
