Chhattisgarhi movie ‘Bhulan the maze’ received the coveted National Films Award declared on Monday. This is the first movie in Chhattisgarhi language to win a national award.
The film, made by Director and Producer Manoj Verma, won the award in the regional film category. It is based on the novel ‘Bhulan-Kanda’ written by Sanjeev Bakshi.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated Verma and the movie team on their success. He extended warm wishes to Bakshi and said this is an honourable recognition for Chhattisgarh.
This achievement will help Chhattisgarhi film talents to recognize themselves on the national level, Baghel said.
Talking to the media, Verma said Chhattisgarhi cinema is doing very well.
