Civil Surgeon Dr. Ashok Kumar Pathak informed that Covid-19 vaccine was given to a total of 1050 citizens in the district today, which includes 821 senior citizens and 45+ age citizens of 85 people
Along with this, 1st Dose was given to 25 Frontline Workers, Health Workers and other Workers and 2nd Dose to 119 people.
Dr Pathak said that vaccines were also given in private hospitals including Sadar Hospital, Bokaro General Hospital and all community centers in the district, among them ANM Training Center at Comp-2.
Out of total 520, which 271 senior citizens and 45 + age,while the first 15 people were given the first dose of Covid.
In addition, 10 frontline workers, health workers and other workers were given the 1st Dose and 54 people were given the 2nd Dose and also, 00 people were given vaccinations at Tenughat Sub-Divisional Hospital in the district, 20 people at Phusro Sub-Divisional Hospital and 20 at Chas Sub-Divisional Hospital and also various community health centers in the district including 30 people in Chandankiyari, 20 people in Bermo Community Health Center, 40 people in Jaridih Community Health Center, 00 people in Nawadih Community Health Center, Petarwar Community Health Center vaccinated 30 people, while in Kasmar Health Community Center 10 people, 50 people at Chas Community Health Center and 30 people at Gomia Community Health Center.
He further informed that a total of 90 people were vaccinated in Health and Wellness Centers and Sub Health Centers of the district and also, a total of 50 people were vaccinated in Bokaro General Hospital.
