The Shahpura police has nabbed an officer of FCI for sexually exploiting a 17-year- old girl for the past two months at Bharat Nagar. The accused was nabbed on Saturday.
Police said that the accused, identified as Piyush Shrivastava, was arrested after the victim lodged a complaint against the accused of sexual assault and exploitation for the past two months by threatening her.
The victim, in her complaint, stated that she used to work for the accused for the past four years where she was provided a room at the upper floor to rest as she used to work from morning till evening. In the month of February 16 when she was taking rest at the room accused came and raped her and threatened her. The ordeal continued for past two months and when she fell ill accused took her to a private hospital where she was treated.
The accused continued to sexually exploit her and later the victim lodged a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint police registered a case and nabbed the accused. The police registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
Police have also recovered mobile phone which the accused used to threaten the victim. The details of the accused and crime records have to be investigated in the further investigation.
The accused had also collected a blank paper signed by the victim which is under investigation. The accused is married and a child from the marriage.
