Kolar police have booked two youths for sodomising a 7-year-old near Thuakheda; police have started investigation into the matter.

Police said that the victim managed to escape and returned home, he was found crying outside his house by his parents when his parents returned from work in the evening and when they asked, he revealed that the two youths have assaulted him and when they searched two were found in Thuakheda. The parents of the youths threatened victim’s family after which they returned.

Late in the night victim started crying and reported pain and revealed that the two sodomised him.

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 377 and 506 of the IPC and sections 5 & 6 of the POCSO Act and started further investigation.

Meanwhile Aishbagh police have booked four persons who were charged with abetment to commit suicide of 30-year-old who committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Chankyapuri last year on November 20;

The father-in-law Rajesh Jain, brother-in-law Ashu Jain, business partner Anurag Kaushik and employee Pawan Dubey used to harass him for money which was found in the suicide during investigation.

Police said that during the investigation police found that the deceased used to deal in medicine and the four persons mentioned in the suicide note used to harass him.

After the death when the family members were cleaning the house suicide note was recovered which revealed the truth behind the death.

The body was sent for post mortem and case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. Later section 306 and 34 of the IPC were imposed.
