CM for transforming Madhya Pradesh as model of cleanliness

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan offered shramdaan in the Swachhata Hi Seva - Cleanliness is the Real Service Campaign in Bhopal Haat Bazaar. He participated in the ‘Ek Tareekh-Ek Ghanta-Ek Saath’ programme. He cleaned the premises. TheChief Minister Chouhan gave a message of cleanliness to the people saying that Cleanliness is the Real Service. He saidthatGod Resides Where Cleanliness Prevails.

Underlining the importance of cleanliness, Chief Minister Sheri Chouhan said that cleanliness brings good health and happiness. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi always laid emphasis on cleanliness. The Prime Minister Sheri Narendra Modi also launched the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014.

On the call of Prime Minister Sheri Modi, he offered shramdaan for cleanliness. Madhya Pradesh is the cleanest state of the country. Bhopal is the cleanest capital of the country. The state stands top in cleanliness. Even in rural areas, efforts have been made for cleanliness with public participation. It is our endeavour to engage every citizen in the cleanliness campaign. Efforts are being made for effective implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Swachha Bharat Andolan by engaging the people, public representatives, social workers and every section of the society.

Sheri Chouhan has appealed to the people to be particular about cleanliness. Maintaining cleanliness is not just a programme. It is an essential civic practice. Madhya Pradesh has become a model state in cleanliness pursuing the vision of the Prime Minister Sheri Modi.

The Prime Minister Sheri Modi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan’ has been launched countrywide from 15 September to 2 October 2023. Swachhata Pakhwada is being celebrated under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The theme of Garbage-free India. In the 105th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Sheri Modi had appealed to spare one hour for shramdaan for cleanliness in the ‘Ek Tareekh-Ek Ghanta -Ek Saath’ campaign. He said that on the eve of Bapu’s birth anniversary, the people should engage in the cleanliness campaign and offer him ‘Swachhanjali’.

Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Sheri Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Mayor Smt. Malti Rai along with public representatives, departmental officers, Safai Mitras and a large number of people were present.
