Governor to inaugurate XLRI's Platinum Jubilee celebrations

XLRI - Xavier School of Management is set to embark on a year-long celebration, marking its Platinum Jubilee, beginning on October 11 and concluding on October 10, 2024. The grand event will kick off at 11:00 AM at the prestigious TATA Auditorium, XLRI Jamshedpur, with the Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

XLRI has been at the forefront of management education, consistently shaping leaders and contributing significantly to society. The Platinum Jubilee Celebration serves as a testament to the institution's journey, achievements, and profound impact on the business and academic landscape.

The celebration provides an invaluable opportunity for engagement with leaders, alumni, faculty, and students who have played pivotal roles in XLRI's remarkable journey over the past 75 years.

Commenting on the milestone, Fr. S. George, director of XLRI said, "The jubilee of an institution is a momentous occasion that allows us to reflect on our journey, express gratitude for the unwavering support from our stakeholders, and look ahead to the exciting future that awaits us. XLRI has become a beacon of excellence, and this celebration is a tribute to everyone who has been part of our journey."

As part of the Platinum Jubilee initiatives, XLRI aims to strengthen its commitment to research, publications, and educational infrastructure. Specific projects planned include: Free accommodation and fully funded fellow program, 96 studio accommodation facilities for Married Fellows, Student Hostel Expansion, 240 rooms to accommodate new programs, Modernization of the Library Transformation into a Digital Library, Scholarship Fund, Fr Ed. McGrath, S.J., Research Centre and Chair,
