State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has warned the corrupt officers of Jharkhand stating that they should not become a tool of corruption of the Hemant government. His statement has come after the ED raid in Ranchi's Hotwar Jail, where a conspiracy to implicate ED officers investigating the mining and land scams of Jharkhand has come to fore. Also, to cause harm to ED, it has come to light that some government officials contacted Maoists. In this case, ED has summoned the clerk, superintendent and jailer of Hotwar jail for questioning. Babulal Marandi has targeted these corrupt officers in his tweet.

Everyone is getting trapped in greed by doing wrong things one after another. After Hamid, Naseem, Danish of Jail Service, now SP Naushad.” He has asked a direct question to CM Hemant Soren in this regard. It is further said that ED has summoned Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam for playing an active role in making Vijay Hansda hostile and refusing to testify.
Babulal has said, there is even an allegation that the DC and SP Sahibganj himself came to Ranchi with a car to get Vijay Hasanda to withdraw cash.
