Marandi cautions Babus not be become toolkit of ‘Corrupt Govt’

Saturday, 11 November 2023 | PNS | Ranchi

State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has warned the corrupt officers of Jharkhand stating that they should not become a tool of corruption of the Hemant government. One day or the other they will have to suffer the consequences of their actions. His statement has come after the ED raid in Ranchi's Hotwar Jail, where a conspiracy to implicate ED officers investigating the mining and land scams of Jharkhand has come to fore. Also, to cause harm to ED, it has come to light that some government officials contacted Maoists. In this case, ED has summoned the clerk, superintendent and jailer of Hotwar jail for questioning. Babulal Marandi has targeted these corrupt officers in his tweet.

In his post at the Microblogging website X Marandi stated, "Every day I am seeing new news in the newspapers that even some people from the jail to the police and the administration are not relenting. Everyone is getting trapped in greed by doing wrong things one after another. After Hamid, Naseem, Danish of Jail Service, now SP Naushad.” He has asked a direct question to CM Hemant Soren in this regard. It is further said that ED has summoned Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam for playing an active role in making Vijay Hansda hostile and refusing to testify.

Babulal has said, there is even an allegation that the DC and SP Sahibganj himself came to Ranchi with a car to get Vijay Hasanda to withdraw cash. During this time he was introduced to many other “great personalities”. It is important to reveal the names of all such faces, who are hiding behind the scenes and playing chess. Marandi has urged ED to deal strictly with such people. Expose the entire gang and their exploits. So that other people take a lesson from this and think a hundred times before acting outside the law.
