In a dazzling display of style and innovation, The International Glamour Project (TIGP) unveiled their highly-anticipated fashion line, 'TIGP Couture and Fashion,' during the prestigious Paris Fashion Week 2023. Founded in 2019 by the dynamic duo of Dr. Swaroop Puranik and Dr. Akshata Prabhu, TIGP has rapidly ascended to prominence, capturing the hearts of fashion enthusiasts and pageant aspirants worldwide. This groundbreaking debut took place from September 25th to October 1st, 2023, in the heart of Paris' 8th Arrondissement.

TIGP has already made a name for itself by securing multiple international pageant licenses, including Mrs. Universe, Mrs. International, Ms. & Mrs. Earth pageant, Teen International World and Ms. International World. Their specialty lies in grooming and training pageant contestants at the TIGP Training Institute, located in Mumbai, India. The project's unparalleled success in producing international pageant winners has drawn widespread recognition. Setting foot in the world's fashion capital, Paris, for their inaugural fashion collection launch speaks volumes about TIGP's ambition and aspirations. Driven by a clear vision to empower women and provide them with platforms to become role models, TIGP seeks to transcend the conventional boundaries of fashion. Their commitment to breaking stereotypes and promoting diversity has created a brand that embodies inclusivity, making fashion accessible to women from all walks of life.

The designs showcased by TIGP during Paris Fashion Week left a lasting impression. Each piece in the collection exemplified meticulous craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to detail. The collection exuded an air of sophistication, with every item carefully curated to reflect the wearer's individuality and elegance. Notably, nine out of the fifteen models who graced the runway were first-time models, all of whom were registered trainees of the TIGP Training Institute. These models represented diverse backgrounds, including Dr. Florence Nalini, a businesswoman and mother of two from Chennai; Shreshtha Sharma, a 10th-grade student from Bangalore; Padmavati Uttarwar, a Ph.D. holder from Karnataka; Krishna Saraj, an MBA graduate in Fashion from Kerala; Chiranthana Y from Bangalore, Dr. Maithili a Dental Surgeon from Canada , Deepika an Investment Banker from Singapore, Ashima a Teacher & mother of two originally from Mumbai but now settled in Canada and Ryka Kulkarni, a 13-year-old talent from the United Kingdom.

The roster also included experienced models such as Victoria Henley, renowned from America's Next Top Model; Hannah Straat, Caroline Raad and Maddie Gray from the USA; Polina Reza from Russia, and the notable Dr. Akshata Prabhu, who is not only the CEO & Chief Mentor of The International Glamour Project but also a professional model with a career spanning since 2002. What sets TIGP apart from its contemporaries is its unwavering commitment to selecting women who embody the spirit of empowerment and aspire to become role models. Dr. Swaroop Puranik, the Managing Director, articulates that TIGP's mission is to redefine beauty standards and celebrate the diverse forms of femininity. In a world increasingly valuing diversity and inclusivity, TIGP stands at the forefront of this movement. The project's dedication to empowering women through fashion has resonated with audiences globally, offering a refreshing perspective on beauty and style.

The judging panels for The International Glamour Project's inaugural and sophomore seasons were nothing short of impressive. Bollywood actor and Miss Universe 2001 Runner-up, Celina Jaitley, and Mrs. World 2000, Aditi Govitrikar, presided over the Season 1 competition. Season 2, on the other hand, was judged by Bollywood actor Minnisha Lamba and Indian Hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki. Dr. Swaroop Puranik, the founder of TIGP and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-Calcutta), played a pivotal role in shaping the project's vision. Dr. Akshata Prabhu, co-founder, is a pediatric dental surgeon and a supermodel with roots tracing back to the early 2000s. Together, they aim to bring fashion education and personality development to the grassroots of India. Inspiration for their journey is drawn from their daughter, Mirka Puranik, who graced the Paris Fashion Week runway alongside her parents.

The successful launch of 'TIGP Couture and Fashion' at Paris Fashion Week 2023 signifies TIGP's commitment to breaking boundaries and celebrating diversity in fashion. With a mission to empower women, redefine beauty standards, and inspire role models, TIGP is poised to continue making waves in the fashion and pageant industries. As it extends its influence, it sets a shining example of the transformational power of inclusivity and innovation in the world of fashion.
