Releasing the the BJP’s Sankalp Patra “BJP’s Sankalp — Modi’s Guarantee 2024” for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections which which has a special focus on the poor, youth, farmers and women, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday exhorted people to give another mandate to his party to shape India’s ‘destiny’ for the next 1,000 years.

Describing the party’s ‘Sankal Patra’ as a document of his guarantee, Modi highlighted the achievements of 10 years of his government at the Centre and said the BJP has delivered on every promise it made so far and asserted that the need for a stable government with full majority was necessary when the world was passing through uncertain times.

“The need for a stable majority government increases at a time when the world is passing through uncertain times,” the prime minister said, referring to the several conflicts the world was grappling with.

“This ‘Sankalp Patra’ strengthens the four strong pillars of a ‘Viksit Bharat’: ‘Yuva Shakti’, ‘Nari Shakti’, poor and farmers,” he said. “I had said from the ramparts of the Red Fort that ‘Yahi Samay hai, Sahi Samay hai’ to shape India’s destiny for the next 1,000 years...I present this Sankalp Patra to the people of the country as ‘Modi ki guarantee’ for their blessings. The country’s 140 crore people’s ambition is Modi’s mission,” he said.

“Bless us, give us more strength for the welfare of crores of citizens of Maa Bharati, to realise the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’, to implement this ‘Sankalp Patra’ at faster pace,” he said, adding that in times of prevailing unrest in different parts of the world, the necessity for a stable government with an unequivocal majority in India becomes even more pronounced.

The prime minister stated that the BJP’s focus is on the dignity and quality of life, as well as investment and employment.

“Simultaneously, in the realm of digital infrastructure, efforts are underway to expand the reach of 5G technology while also laying the groundwork for advancements like 6G,” he said.

“The Sankalp Patra emphasizes both the quantity and quality of opportunities, with a focus on infrastructure development for generating employment on one hand, and promoting startups and global centers for high-value servicing on the other. I present this Sankalp Patra to the 140 crore citizens as a testament to ‘Modi ki guarantee’. The BJP has formulated this Sankalp Patra to transform the dreams of 140 crore citizens into reality,” he said.

“The BJP’s Sankalp Patra will swiftly initiate its course after June 4, with the government already underway on its initial 100-day action plan. BJP has enacted the Nari Shakti Act, revoked Article 370, and implemented the CAA nationwide. Upholding the principles of Reform, Perform, and Transform, India is poised to advance rapidly,” Modi said.

During the unveiling of the Sankalp Patra, a film was showcased by the BJP, illustrating the welfare and transformative initiatives undertaken in the past 10 years, as well as the resolutions adopted by the party  to propel the nation towards ‘Viksit Bharat’ in the forthcoming years. This film depicted how the BJP has, over the past 10 years, implemented every point of its Sankalp Patra as a guarantee on the ground.

Speaking on the occasion PM Modi said today marks a significant day as there is fervor for the New Year in many states across the country.

BJP also aims to extend the Vande Bharat train network to every corner of the nation, introducing three models: Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chair Car, and Vande Bharat Metro. The construction of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train is progressing, nearing completion. The party has pledged to operate a bullet train in all four directions of India, marking a significant step towards self-reliance.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP president J P Nadda said the government’s achievements over the last 10 years, such as the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution and the women’s reservation law, were made possible due to the clear mandate given to the party by people.
