‘Samadhan’ campaign for traffic rules held

Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday launched an awareness drive regarding traffic rules under the ‘Samarth’ campaign in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district.

Under the campaign, the police told people to wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and tie seat belts while driving four-wheelers, Superintendent of Police Trilok Bansal said.

The police appealed to the masses not to drive in a drunken state.

In March, as many Rs 1,24,200 of fines were imposed following traffic rule violations.
