In an effort to bolster fire safety measures for national infrastructure development, the BSL Fire Services Department observed Fire Service Week from April 14th to 20th. Under the guidance of Birendra Kumar Tiwari, new DIC of BSL, the main Fire Department of Bokaro Steel Plant formally introduced 10 new water and foam tenders.
During the program, attended by key officials such as P.K. Baisakhia (Chief of Protection), B.K. Sartape (Chief of Security and Fire Services), Harsh Nigam (Chief of Material Management), V.K. Singh (Chief of Mechanical), and Commandant Nitin Tyagi from the Central Industrial Security Force, Tiwari highlighted the significance of these new additions. He emphasized that the inclusion of these tenders not only strengthens the fire safety capacity of Bokaro Steel Plant but also enhances the fire preparedness of Bokaro Steel City.
Tiwari commended the Fire Branch of the Central Industrial Security Force for their vigilance and urged them to remain alert, especially with the onset of warmer weather. The program was efficiently conducted by Kumar Rajnish, Assistant General Manager (Fire Services), and Manoj Chauhan, Assistant Commandant (Central Industrial Security Force).
