Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Aryabhata Bhawan and a library at the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) in Bhilai on Monday.
Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma were present along with MLAs and public representatives.
The Aryabhata Bhawan has been built at a cost of Rs 10.35 crore. Along with studies, it will serve as an incubation centre for young entrepreneurs and their startups.
It will target rural and underprivileged sectors by leveraging grassroots technologies and innovations.
The CSVTU also aims to establish Rural Entrepreneurship Development Centres (REDC) at its affiliated institutions. These will provide financial and technical consultations to students to enable them to explore innovative and market-friendly products generated from rural resources.
