Aditya Vikram Jaysawal, former president of the Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee, submitted a memorandum today at the JUIDCO office in Ranchi, addressing concerns about dust pollution on the city's roads. He emphasized the need for regular watering of roads and immediate road construction work, particularly ahead of festivals like Ram Navami and Sarhul. Jaysawal criticized the lack of responsiveness from project directors at JUIDCO, stressing that delays in addressing public issues raise doubts about the effectiveness of their work.
He urged for accountability and thorough inspection of JUIDCO's activities by the state government. Jaysawal highlighted the health hazards caused by the dust, including respiratory problems and skin infections, and called for urgent measures to alleviate the situation. Witnesses present at the memorandum included Krishna Sahay, Sanjeev Mahato, Vivek Dhan, Pappu Singh, Gaurav Anand, among others.
