A fire broke out in restaurant located in Reliable House in Koh-e-Fiza, Bhopal on Sunday morning. The Wonder Bread Bakery and Restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the building, where the fire broke out at around 8 am and the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot. The cause of fire is reportedly short circuit.
The entire furniture including the counter kept at the restaurant gutted in the fire. Even the food items kept there burnt completely. Since it was early morning and no staff was inside, no casualty was reported. Three firefighters brought the fire under control. However, by then, the entire furniture, AC and other items burnt due to the fire.
The firemen faced difficulty in extinguishing the fire due to smoke. The fire was brought under control in about an hour. The total loss due to fire could not be ascertained so far. Due to the fire, there was a traffic jam on the road and the commuters faced problems for some time. The team including fire fighters Shahnabaz and Nitin Baghel brought the fire under control.
