It rained in Bhopal, other parts of Madhya Pradesh

Amid heat wave alert in 9 cities of Madhya Pradesh, it is raining at many places. It rained in Indore at 1:30 pm on Wednesday. Heavy rainfall was also witnessed in Khajuri Anjana village of Mandsaur for about 40 minutes.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light dusty storm along with lightning, thunder, rain and hail in 8 districts including Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Betul, Khargone, Dholawad of Ratlam, Ujjain and Panna in the next 24 hours.

Similarly, in Agar, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Raisen, Barwani, Khargone, Bhopal, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla, Satna, Singrauli, Anuppur, Dindori, Katni, Rewa and Maihar districts. There will be cloudy conditions and light drizzle may also occur.

A big tree fell due to the storm in Mandla on Tuesday evening. More than 20 people have been injured in an accident during the Ramnagar weekly market.

The Met has issued warning of heat waves in Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Ditya, Bhind, Morena, Patna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari districts while thunderstorms and gusty winds with light rainfall would be witnessed in Sehore, Dhar, Indore, Dewas, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria and Dindori.

Rewa division and Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat districts would witness thunderstorms and hail storms issued by Met.

In the next 24 hours  Heat wave will prevail in Gwalior, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Satna, Khargone and Khandwa. Whereas, there will be thunderstorms in Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Sidhi and Singrauli.

There is an alert of heat wave in Gwalior, Datia, Khargone and Khandwa. Whereas in Indore, Dhar, Shajapur, Ujjain, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Balaghat, Umaria, Katni, Panna, Satna, Maihar, Rewa, Mauganj, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Bhind and Morena. It may be cloudy.
