Jamshedpur students shine in UPSC Civil Services examination

The youth of Jamshedpur have once again demonstrated their academic prowess on the national stage, making headlines with remarkable achievements in the country's prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination. Several students from the city have secured notable ranks, showcasing their dedication and perseverance.
 
Swati Sharma, a student of Tagore Academy and a resident of Jamshedpur, has secured an impressive 17th rank in the UPSC examination. Hailing from a family with a background in the armed forces, Swati Sharma's journey to success saw her excel academically from her schooling days at Army Secondary School to pursuing her MA degree at Jamshedpur Women’s College. With her achievement, she is now poised to become an IAS officer, fulfilling her aspirations through hard work and determination.
 
Another notable achiever is Harshit Verma, the eldest son of Tata Steel employee Samar Kumar, who secured the 272nd rank in the UPSC examination. Harshit, hailing from Kadma, Jamshedpur, pursued his engineering degree from B.I.T Mesra before venturing into the field of engineering in Bangalore. His success in the UPSC examination opens the doors for him to serve as an IPS officer, marking a significant milestone in his career path.
 
Adding to the list of achievers is Ritwik Verma, a student of Loyola School, Jamshedpur, who secured the 520th rank in the UPSC examination. Ritwik's educational journey took him from Jamshedpur to Delhi University, where he pursued a degree in Geography. With diligent preparation, Ritwik managed to crack the UPSC examination, showcasing his determination and academic acumen.
 
The remarkable achievements of Swati Sharma, Harshit Verma, and Ritwik Verma underscore the academic excellence and determination prevalent among the youth of Jamshedpur. Their success serves as an inspiration for aspiring students and highlights the city's contribution to the national landscape of civil services.
