Jayant Smriti lecture on ‘India's Knowledge Science Tradition’

Vigyan Bharti Madhya Bharat Prant will organize a lecture on "India's Knowledge Science Tradition" on the birthday of Late Jayantrao Sahastrabuddhe on Wednesday at Rajya Animal Husbandry Training Institute Auditorium, Poultry Bhawan, Vaishali Nagar Bhopal from 5 pm onwards.

The keynote speaker of this program will be renowned archaeologist, founder of South Asian Archeology Society and former Vice Chancellor of Deccan College, Dr. Vasant Shinde. Dr. Vasant Shinde is also world famous for DNA testing of Rakhigarhi site of Harappan culture. In this program, Chairman of the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee, Prof. Ravindra Ramachandra Kanherre will be the special guest.

The program will be presided over by Ashok Pandey, Prant Sanghchalak Madhyambharat Province.It is known that Late. Jayanterao Sahastrapabuddhe was a famous thinker and philosopher, who worked till his last days on making science accessible to the common people as an indigenous movement. This lecture series is being organized in his memory. The book “Contribution of Indian Scientists in the Indian Independence Movement” written by Sahasranbuddhe and his lectures on it have been discussed in the entire country.
