The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha today attacked Godda MP Nishikant Dubey and Election Commission of India after Deoghar SP Ajeet Peter Dungdung was removed from his post by the ECI on Tuesday.
Central General Secretary cum Spokesperson of JMM Supriyo Bhattacharya said in a press conference on Wednesday that BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has now become the spokesperson of the Election Commission. He said that on Tuesday the Election Commission's instructions came that Deoghar SP should be replaced.
He said that in some fake case of Deoghar, Shivdutt Sharma has lodged an FIR against MP Nishikant Dubey in Jasidih police station on many serious charges. Can the investigation be stopped by removing the SP? Superintendent of Police is a post, which works to maintain law and order in the district. If any declared candidate complains against any official, he is being removed directly.
Supriyo said that earlier Nishikant Dubey used to be the spokesperson of ED and CBI. Now he has also become the spokesperson of the Election Commission. The Commission did not even take opinion from JMM regarding how elections should be held in the state. The Commission team went to all the states of the country. But Jharkhand was left out. “If we had got a chance to talk to the Election Commission, we would have informed them about the actual situation in the state. But this did not happen. Now questions are also being raised on the credibility of the Commission,” he said.
What is the background of this Nishikant Dubey? When the work of ED and CBI was going on, he used to act as spokesperson. And now he has also become the spokesperson of the Election Commission. The Election Commission did not even consult JMM regarding how elections should be held in the state.
