Monday, 15 January 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, while addressing a press conference at Sahebganj regarding Voters' Conference on Voters' Day on January 25, described Hemant government as the most corrupt government.

Marandi said that the new voters are ready to write a new story in the coming 2024 elections. He said that Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the entire country and Assembly elections in Jharkhand in 2024, 50 lakh new voters have been added to Jharkhand. The new voters are eager to form their own government. There is excitement and enthusiasm among the new voters.

He said that on January 25, on Voters' Day, the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address and communicate with the new voters through virtual medium. He said that programs will be held at 5000 places across the country, where new voters will be present.

The new voter conference is to be held in all 81 assembly constituencies of Jharkhand. Lakhs of youth will join this conference and listen to the Prime Minister. He said that the new voters are ready to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time. There is immense curiosity within them. During this, he also attacked the Hemant government and said that new voters are also eager to answer the corrupt Hemant government. There is a lot of anger among the youth due to the breach of promise.

During this, he also released the nationwide registration number 7820078200 for the voters' conference. And urged the new voters to register by making a missed call on the above number.

During this, Rajmahal MLA Anant Ojha, State Yuva Morcha President Kislay Tiwari were also present.

Meanwhile, uncertainty prevails over Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Dhanbad where he will inaugurate the Sindri unit of Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL) when he visits Dhanbad on January 27.

The BJP state unit was preparing for Modi’s visit to Dhanbad on January 27. BJP state president Babulal Marandi held a meeting in the Dhanbad district office a couple of days ago, given the PM’s plan to address a public meeting at Balliapur Airport grounds.

BJP general secretary Pradeep Verma said we have not received the prime minister’s visit schedule. “We were getting ready for the PM’s programme given his plan to inaugurate the Barauni fertiliser plant in Bihar,” he added.

BJP sources said the PM’s programme was there but has been deferred, given the prime minister’s engagements with foreign dignitaries a day after the Republic Day.

Sources in New Delhi said that the prime minister has to inaugurate the newly set up fertiliser plants in Sindri and Barauni (Bihar), but the date is yet to be fixed.

Notably, Modi laid the the foundation stone of HURL Sindri (Jharkhand), Barauni (Bihar) and Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), a project of over Rs 18,000 crores simultaneously on May 25, 2018, in Dhanbad.

Modi’s ambitious project began its trial run in November last year. The HURL Sindri had dispatched its first commercial production for Babadham (Deoghar).

The Sindri plant will produce 3850 tonnes of urea and 2250 metric tons of ammonia daily. The plant has a target of producing 11.75 lakh metric tons annually. Since Fertilizer Corporation India (FCI) Sindri shut down in December 2002 during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led central government, Prime Minister Modi had made the HURL Sindri’s ambitious project is to compensate for the loss in 2002.
