Police cracks Santosh Manjhi murder case

Lohardaga police has succeeded in solving the mystery of the case of shooting of Kudu market secretary cum former PACS member Santosh Kumar Manjhi alias Manglu and arrested four of the six criminal including the main conspirator behind the crime. The arrested crime personnel include Satyajit Kundan, Ritesh Kumar Bharti, Vijay Ram Pawar, Aman Singh. Raids are being conducted at various places to arrest two others. Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman told in a press conference on Saturday that on 04.02.2024, Santosh Kumar Manjhi alias Manglu, sensor of Kudu Bazar Tand under Kudu police station, was shot dead by unknown criminals. In this regard, a case related to conspiracy to murder was registered in Kudu police station. Thereafter, to uncover the murder, an SIT team was formed under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Police (IPS) and SDPO Lohardaga and a raid was conducted to arrest unknown criminals. And the said crime personnel were arrested. The arrested criminals admitted to killing Santosh Kumar Majhi alias Manglu due to personal rivalry. 

The mobile phone used in the incident, the money found in the murder conspiracy and the car and motorcycle used in the incident were seized from the criminals. Among the above accused, Satyajit Kundan had the Apple company's 11 Pro Max mobile phone used in the incident. One Plus mobile phone used in the incident, TVS motorcycle and Rs 1000 left after spending in the murder conspiracy were found from Ritesh Kumar Bharti, a mobile phone of Real Me company was used in the incident from Vijay Ram Pawar. 

A phone, a white Honda car and Rs 2500 left after being spent in the murder conspiracy were found from Aman Singh, itel company's keypad mobile used in the incident, the sky blue vat he was wearing at the time of the incident was a murder. Rs 1500 left after spending was found in the letter and a red glamor motorcycle used in the incident has also been recovered. The raid SIT team included Assistant Superintendent of Police, SDPO Ms. Shraddha Ferketta, Sadar police station in-charge Inspector Anil Oraon, Kudu police station in-charge Vishwajeet Kumar Singh, SI Dhananjay Kumar Paswan, SI Holika Sima Technical Branch, SI Dinesh Prasad Mehta, ASI Sanjay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Soldiers and technical team were involved.
