On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Ram Janmotsav and speech competition on the life ideals of Lord Shri Ram was organized at Manohar Lal Aggarwal Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Lohardaga. The program was started by lighting the lamp and offering flowers in front of the pictures of Saraswati Mata, Om and Bharat Mata. After that, everyone collectively recited Shri Ram Stuti, Bhaye Prakat Kripala..., Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman ji's Aarti, Manas Path. Poems of Tulsidas were sung by college teachers Ritesh Kumar Pathak and Kavita Kumari. In the speech competition, Jyoti Priya Kujur, Abhay Sahu and Kiran Kumari got first, second and third position respectively. All the winning participants were honored with prizes and citations. President Shashidharlal Aggarwal said that we should imbibe the ideal qualities of Lord Ram in our lives. Former Principal of the college and current Principal of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Bhuli Nagar, Dhanbad, Uttam Kumar Mukherjee said that the life of Shri Ram Ji always teaches to achieve the ideal. Every moment we get to learn something, we should embrace it. College Principal Sunil Kumar Singh said that his name is bigger than Shri Ram and his work is bigger than his name, all the students should adopt the life ideals of Shri Ram. The program was conducted by Riddhi Mishra and the program of guest introduction and welcome was organized by Kavita Kumari. The role of judge was played by Preeti Kumari Gupta and Sanoj Kumar Sahu. Teachers and students including Rashmi Sahu, Yashoda Kumari, Chetna Priya, Archana Kumari, Aarti Bhagat were present in the program.
