In a resolute commitment to fortify the nation's democratic fabric, Rapido, India's foremost commute app, assumes a pivotal role in national duty with the launch of the "SawaariZimmedariKi" initiative. Collaborating with the Chief Electoral Office of Madhya Pradesh, Rapido offers free bike taxi rides to Bhopal voters on May 7, 2024. Additionally, it has partnered with city administration to raise awareness about the significance of voting to encourage voter participation.

A rally consisting of around 100 bike taxi captains commenced from the Platinum Plaza Atal Path, Bhopal. During the flag-off ceremony, Anupam Rajan, Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh, Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, Collector, Bhopal, and Ritesh Sharma, Assistant Nodal Officer for SVEEP, Bhopal graced the occasion with their presence and encouraged citizens to vote.

On election day, voters can avail free rides on the Rapido app using the code 'VOTENOW' and exercise their democratic right. The initiative aims to facilitate residents' voting rights and ensure a more inclusive electoral process. This concerted effort aligns with Rapido's nationwide campaign, deploying over 10 lakh captains across more than 100 cities to provide free rides on election-day.

Rapido's partnership with the Chief Electoral Office of Madhya Pradesh reflects its commitment to being a brand that drives positive change for a better society.

Kaushlendra Vikram, Collector Bhopal, commented, "We appreciate Rapido's dedication to enhancing the electoral process and ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast their vote. The company's initiative to organize a rally in Bhopal during the General Elections 2024 is a commendable effort towards promoting voter awareness and participation. Together, we are working towards building a more inclusive and participatory democracy in Madhya Pradesh."
