Women don’t have security in NDA regime: Yashashwani Sahay

Sunday, 05 May 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Attacking the ruling party in the center, Congress candidate from Ranchi, Yashaswini Sahay, on Saturday, has said that today women do not have security. The youth do not have jobs, but now people are seeing what the truth is, she added.

Talking to media persons during the poll campaign Sahay said that the public is suffering, the educated youth do not have jobs. ‘Women are facing difficulty in running the household. At least the money is coming home. Inflation is skyrocketing. Modi ji had done good marketing, big talks were made, but he could not deliver the product,’ she added.

Talking about Ranchi, the party Candidate said that it has been 24 years since Jharkhand became a State. “BJP ruled here for 18 years. During these years, Ranchi did not develop as much as it should have. If I become an MP, I will work with senior party leaders to establish coordination between the central and State Governments. Only then will a bridge be built and Ranchi will be able to develop,” SHE ADDED.

Congress former National Chief, Rahul Gandhi will come to Jharkhand on May 7. Gandhi will address the election rally in Basia, Gumla. During this time, all the four Indian candidates of the first phase of elections will be present during the programme. Along with this, Chief Minister Champai Soren, former CM's wife Kalpana Soren and other leaders of India Alliance will participate in Rahul Gandhi's program. Among the fourth phase candidates, Sukhdev Bhagat from Lohardaga, Kalicharan Munda from Khunti, RJD candidate Mamta Bhuyan from Palamu and JMM candidate Joba Manjhi from Singhbhum and others will be present on the stage. The State Congress Committee is busy finalizing the program of Rahul Gandhi's entire tour. This program can reach the State Congress office by Saturday morning.

In view of this program of Rahul Gandhi, state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir held marathon meetings in Lohardaga, Khunti, Gumla and Simdega in two days. He said that all the party workers work for the organization throughout the year. “For the last five years, he has been struggling among the people who are troubled by the actions of the BJP Government at the Centre. Now the time has come to bring out the result of those struggles in the form of victory from the booth. The organization has been built at the block and booth level for five years. Today, there is a need that the organization should improve the coordination between the booth level workers, so that during the elections, direct communication between the candidates and the booth agents continues from now till the day of voting,” he added.

“Till the day of voting, it is necessary that the booth level workers keep in constant contact with the voters of their booth, so that if any illegal act or rumor is spread by the BJP to change the course of the election, it will alert the common people. So that they can be warned and their truth can be told. He said that the party nominates one candidate, but every worker of the election organization contests in his own locality, ward, block, so that the party's victory can be ensured. This is a golden opportunity to get out of the 10 years of misrule of the NDA Government and we should not let it go under any circumstances,” said Mir.
