The number of candidates declared qualified with JEE Advanced for IIT this year is 54,378. 1,87,223 candidates registered for the exam this year and out of them, 1,80,442 appeared in papers 1 and 2.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cutoff Drops by 35 Marks
This year, the JEE Advanced cutoff in each subject and overall has dropped across all the categories. The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff marks for inclusion in the rank list are: 20.56% for the common rank list; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.
In the year 2024, there was a rise in the cutoff marks and cutoff percentage with the cutoff of the common rank list being 30.34%; 27.30% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 15.17% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 7.58% for Preparatory course rank lists.
