An eye and dental check-up camp was organized by Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital today at Van Vihar National Park, providing medical services to 101 forest officials, including 91 men and 10 women. During the eye examinations, 55 patients were diagnosed with refractive errors. Twelve patients were referred to Sewa Sadan for eye surgeries, while 60 were treated with eye drops. Additionally, 45 patients were provided with spectacles.
In the general health check-up, eight forest employees were found to have diabetes, and five were diagnosed with blood pressure issues.
The dental camp assessed the oral health of the same 101 patients. Twenty-eight individuals were advised to undergo root canal treatment, 25 were recommended for tooth extraction, and 48 were directed to receive other dental care.
The event was attended by Director of Van Vihar National Park, Forest Range Officer K.N. Sharma, along with Ravikant Jain and Vasudev Sharma. Optometrist D.P. Mishra, Sonu Shukla, dentist Dr. Komal Daswani, and other supporting staff from Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital provided their expert services to the attendees.
