aharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, celebrated its Annual Day with grandeur and honouring the achievements of meritorious students on Thursday.
Principal Professor Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari opened the event by presenting the annual report, highlighting the college’s accomplishments. He praised the dedication of students and staff, calling the event a reflection of their collective efforts and innovation. The Chief Guest, and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra was also present in the event and emphasised the transformative power of education and the importance of the National Education Policy 2020 in preparing youth for the future.
The college recognised academic excellence across various departments. First prizes were awarded to Khushi Singhal of BSc Hons Electronics and Sanskriti Singh of BSc Physical Science, while several other students received second and third place awards.
Special recognitions included the Dr SP Verma Memorial Gold Award to Sanjeev Kumar, Shri Vinod Kumar Jain Memorial Award to Sonam Dobriyal, and Professor Prem Kumari Srivastava Memorial Gold Award to Garvita Singh. Swati Surbhi received the Best Student Award with other accolades going to Manish Kumar and Aadrika Dubey.
