Chhattisgarh Police have arrested a 29-old-man on charges of abetting a lady doctor to commit suicide in Bilaspur city, police said on Tuesday.
Suraj Pandey of Sarkanda was nabbed on Monday, Bilaspur Superintendent of Police Rajnesh Singh said.
Dr Pooja Chaurasia was found dead on March 11 at her parents’ residence in Torwa area in the city.
Pandey, a realtor and victim, had an extra-marital affair with her.
Pandey was nabbed following a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother.
After arrest, Pandey confessed to the crime and he was sent to prison.
