BDO Bisunpura Block in Garhwa district, Heerak Manna Karketta, committed suicide on Saturday afternoon. He committed suicide by hanging himself at his government residence.
As soon as the information of suicide was received, the district officials including the Deputy Commissioner, reached his government residence and inquired about the whole matter.
While contacted, the Superintendent of Police,said that after investigation he will be able to say the reason behind the incident.
BDO Heerak Manna Karketta of Bishunpura block was accused of breaking into the house of Revenue Inspector Jitendra Kumar two days ago and assaulting him. In this regard, the Revenue Inspector had given an application to the Deputy Commissioner and demanded action.
It is being said that the BDO was already mentally abnormal. After giving the application to the DC, he was looking very disturbed. On receiving the information of the incident, the district officials including the DC reached his government residence and inquired about the incident.
