In an effort to empower local unemployed youth and enhance employability, a Campus Recruitment and Placement Drive for trainees was organized at Bokaro Private ITI, under the auspices of CSR initiatives by BSL Limited. The event took place on April 20 and 24, 2024, wherein 30 trainees from Larsen & Toubro, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, and 18 trainees from Suzuki Motor Bharuch, Gujarat, were selected.
During the event, all selected trainees were provided offer letters in the esteemed presence of Sudhanshu, Secretary of the Corporate Affairs and Administration Department at Bokaro Steel Plant, along with Ramesh Chand, Deputy General Manager-cum-Treasurer of the Finance and Accounts Department. It is worth noting that several prominent corporate companies such as Honda, Spark Minda, Exide, TVS, among others, are slated to participate in campus selections for the ongoing Campus Recruitment and Placement Drive - 2024.
It is worth mentioning that admissions for the August 2024-25 and 25-26 sessions for Electrician, Fitter, and Welder trades, totaling 220 seats with 80 seats each for Electrician and Fitter trades and 60 seats for Welder trade, are commencing from May 2024. Furthermore, all trainees receive on-the-job training at Bokaro Steel Plant to facilitate quality skill development and enhance employment prospects during their training period.
