UCCI chief nominated to NBMSME

The Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) president Ramesh Mahapatra has been nominated to the National Board for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NBMSME). The prestigious board is responsible for overall progressive growth and policy formulation for the MSME sector.

The NBMSME is headed by Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra and  consists of other high-profile dignitaries like Union Ministers of State for MSME Giriraj Singh and Haribhai Prathibhai Chaudhary and Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das, the Nabard Chairman, the SIDBI CMD and the Indian Bank’s Association chairman, to name a few.

Mahapatra’s induction into the NBMSME is a testimony to the relentless efforts of the UCCI over the years for industrial growth, particularly for the MSME sector in Odisha.
