The Government of Québec is offering international internship programme to study in Canada. The internship is intended for Master’s or doctoral students enrolled full-time in a Quebec university or in an university outside Québec who meets the requirements of their programme.

The scholarship for internship is of a maximum value of $15,000. However, the FRQNT will allow no more than the equivalent of $2,500 per month in living expenses.

Eligibility: The applicant must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or a foreign student who has a valid study permit for the province of Québec. For foreign students enrolled in an university outside Québec. The applicant must have the valid study permits or visa for the entire duration of the internship. The applicant can’t be enrolled in a co-degree from more than one institution including a Québec university. For the students enrolled in a co-degree see the rules of the Frontenac programme.

The Faculty of Science at University of Sydney awards a limited number of Dean’s International postgraduate research scholarships for international students. Scholarships are available to undertake a research doctorate degree (PhD) programme.

Eligibility: Currently enrolled in the final year of a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Science or relevant discipline, or an equivalent degree, at an international university. The final year of the degree must include a research component which accounts for a minimum of 25% of the year. Have achieved a GPA greater than 85 or an average A grade, or have a relevant subject specific GPA of 90, or equivalent. May not be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency in Australia. Be commencing full time postgraduate research study at the University for the first time. Not be in receipt of any other tuition fee scholarship. English language Requirements: Applicants must have an overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.
