Aftab clocks 19 years in B’wood
Actor Aftab Shivdasani looked back at how life changed for him 19 years ago when he stepped into Bollywood. He debuted in 1999 with Ram Gopal Verma's hit i, opposite actress Urmila Matondkar. “Over 19 years ago today, a new life began for me. A life I always dreamt of. An opportunity to pursue a childhood dream of becoming an actor. Thank you Ram for giving me this opportunity to realise my dream. Thank you to all those people who believed in me,” he tweeted. Actress Sonakshi Sinha has praised actor Hrithik Roshan and thanked him for always motivating her to be fit.
Lauding Sonakshi's transformation, Hrithik tweeted: “Stunning! I remember a ‘before’ conversation years ago and now this! Well done Sonakshi you are going to inspire many. Keep going.” To this, Sonakshi replied, “That conversation was an inspiration in itself! Thank you for always being so motivating Hrithik! This is just the beginning.”
Clapton unveils Happy Xmas
Musician Eric Clapton's album Happy Xmas is out now. It released on October 12 on Clapton's Bushbranch Records/Surfdog Records. Happy Xmas is Clapton’s 24th studio album and his first since 2016's I Still Do.
“Happy Xmas is here,” Clapton tweeted.
“I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals. I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is Have yourself a merry little Christmas,” he said.
