Kerala Floods – The Human Story
The one-hour special documentary Kerala Floods – The Human Story on Discovery Channel is a poignant take on the indomitable spirit of Kerala who instead of losing hope, are steadily working towards rebuilding their beloved state.
The documentary is a celebration of the spirit of survival in the face of disaster; viewers will get to witness incredible stories of people coming together to help those in need. From fishermen turned rescue operators to the defence forces who provided aid, from actors who worked alongside NGO workers to get supplies to those in need to young entrepreneurs who devised ways to connect people at a time when the apocalyptic rain fury just refused to die. The documentary also features the story of Sajitha Jabil who was just three days away from her due date, her labour pains had intensified, and water levels were still rising. She was airlifted in one of the most dramatic rescues of Indian Navy’s Operation Madad. By the afternoon, baby Subhan was in her arms unaware of the many storms his mother braved to bring him into this world.
This one-hour special documentary will be aired on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 9 pm.
Starry night with Sonakshi Sinha

This year, one such celebrity is Sonakshi Sinha. Premiere of Kickboxer Retaliation

Given that Kurt’s previous trip to Thailand was a disaster, he vows to never go to back to Thailand. On his way to achieving glory and winning the MMA title, he finds himself sedated and forced back into Thailand, this time in prison. Kurt is forced to have an underground death battle to gain his freedom and a reward of one million dollars. Mongkut, who is 6'8" 400 lbs and has enhanced his capabilities with drug usage, is waiting eagerly to fight Kurt. To Kurt’s horror, after his refusal, a bounty is on his head inside prison, leaving him with no option but to face Mongkut. Kurt accepts the challenge and trains under the legends, Master Durand and Briggs (Mike Tyson). There is blood, there is pain, there is excitement and of course, there is the ultimate fight of death.

New show— Ladies Special
The best way to peoples’ hearts in through their stomach. And Girija Oak, who is all set to play the role of Meghana Nikade on Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Ladies Special knows this only too well! The actress has recently started shooting for the show and decided to treat the entire cast and crew of the show with some lemon cakes.
When asked about this sweet gesture, Girija said: “It’s such a pleasure to work with this amazing cast and crew every day. Everyone here is so hardworking and appreciative of each other. I brought along these lemon cakes for everyone from Pune’s famous bakery which is also famous for selling Shrewberry biscuits just because I wanted to make them happy.”
