2nd Test: India dismissed for 283 in first innings

India was dismissed for 283 runs in the first innings on the third day of the second cricket Test against Australia here on Sunday.

Australia thus took a first innings lead of 43 runs. They had scored 326 in their first innings.

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the most successful of the Australian bowlers with figures of 5/67.
