‘Gandhian Thought Corner’ at each college library before Oct 2

The State BJP on Saturday claimed that the launching of the Ayushman Bharat health scheme from Jharkhand would be written in golden letters in the history of the State. The party has also criticised the Opposition leaders for trying to give political colour to the event.

Addressing mediapersons at party headquarters General Secretary Deepak Prakash said that PM Narendra Modi would be launching the scheme, which is largest one in the history of independent India, from the Jai Jagannath ground alias Modi ground in Dhurwa.

It may be noted here that Prakash chose to call the venue place as Jai Jagannath instead of the Prabhat Tara ground as has been mentioned in official communications.

He said BJP workers from all over the state particularly from Ranchi, Lohardaga, Khunti, Simdega, Hazaribagh and Ramgarh would come in large number for the programme. He said party workers have also carried out public awareness drives so that people attend the PM function.

The BJP general secretary said that 80 per cent of the families in Jharkhand would be covered under the scheme which is the highest in the country. A large number of hospitals have been empanelled in this regard, he said.

Prakash criticised the opposition party, including the congress and the JMM for speaking against the scheme saying they were speaking out of panic. “The Opposition wants that poor remains sick and be left out of the development process,” he said. He opined that people would send these political parties in coma in the next election.
