Polling would be held at 380 centres in Dehradun district during the urban local body polls slated to be held on November 18. Informing, the district magistrate Dehradun, S A Murugesan said that 106 polling centres have been categorised as sensitive while 68 are hyper- sensitive. He further said that 285 polling centres would be set up for elections of the municipal corporation of Dehradun (MCD) out of which 57 are sensitive and 43, hyper- sensitive. Similarly, as regards the municipal corporation of Rishikesh, 36 polling centres would be set up. There are 19 sensitive and 12 hyper- sensitive centres here, DM said. For municipal council of Doiwala, 25 polling centres would be set up while 20 centres would be there for municipal council election of Mussoorie. There would be nine and five polling centres respectively for municipal councils of Vikasnagar and Herbertpur, the DM added.
