Taking cognizance of the presence of children in uniform at PM Narendra Modi’s rally on November 16 in Shahdol, two ABVP activists have been booked, said Chief Electoral Officer VL Kantha Rao while speaking with media persons on Monday.
The action was taken after news surfaced and EC took cognizance. The ABVP workers have not informed the authorities regarding taking of students to the rally.
Providing other details he said three FIRs have been lodged for using children in political rallies in Bhopal, Sehore and Indore each. Another detail shared by CEO was keeping eye on Jan Abhiyan Parishad staff which has to inform administration before leaving and making move to any place.
