New rates of the Puri Jagannath temple’s Mahaprasad would be announced soon. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting between Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra and members of the Suara and Mahasuara Nijogs here on Tuesday.

A rate chart of the Mahaprasad would be displayed at the Ananda Bazar in the temple premises after fixation of prices. It was also decided in the meeting to set up a grievance cell and a helpdesk at the Ananda Bazar.

Besides, a discussion was held at the meeting over the Kotha Bhoga of the deities. After estimation of expenditure for the Kotha Bhoga, a rate chart for it would also be put up.

The cooking process of the Kotha Bhoga would be monitored by the Deula Karana and the temple supervisor. This apart, entry of non-servitors to Ananda Bazar would be restricted.
