A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her residence in Gondarmau under Gandhi Nagar area on Sunday. Police said that Nisha Silawat was found hanging and declared dead when taken to hospital.
In the investigation police found that the deceased used to woke up early and would prepare tea and breakfast. In the morning on Sunday her mother found her hanging and informed the family members who took her to nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Police have found no suicide note was left by the deceased girl and family members told the police that the reason behind the suicide remained unknown. The victim was a student of class XI. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
Police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and started investigation to reveal reason behind the suicide. Meanwhile, a 73-year-old man died at Pride Home under Katara Hills in the morning on Monday. The deceased identified as Subhash Selaar was found in an unconscious state and was declared dead when he was taken to a nearby hospital.
In the preliminary investigation police found that the deceased was suffering from heart disease. He was a resident of Mumbai and was scheduled to board train to Mumbai with his friend Sudhakar and was staying at his place.The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
