The Statehood celebration organised amid much trumpet blast concluded on a high note with some tantalizing heartwarming cultural performances. Musical maestros Suresh Wadkar and Kavita Krishnamurthy entertained the city residents with his soothing musical tunes. Other cultural events as well received a much applaud from the city residents.
Like every year, this year too, the State government had planned a glittering cultural evening for the residents for their wholesome entertainment. The event organised at Capital City’s heart – Morhabadi Ground saw the participation of huge number of people from different walks of life.
The specialties of different States ranging from Assam’s Bihu Dance, Bihar’s Kajari song, Gujarat’s Dandiya, West Bengal’s folk dance left the audiences spell bound at the district level cultural event.
Besides the commoners, the dignitaries were mesmerised to watch the live performance of musical maestros including other renowned local artists. Popular Bollywood Playback singer Suresh Wadkar once again took the audiences present in the gathering to the golden era of mid 80’s and 90’s.
Besides the musical affair, an array of cultural programmes portraying the rich art and culture of different States, planned by the State government from 6 PM onwards left a mark on denizens mind.
