With a view to provide one lakh employment in a year, the Department of Labour, Training and Employment has organized a job fair on December 12 and 13 under the State Government’s scheme called ‘Dattopanth Thengari Rojgaar Mela’.
Informing about the employment fair Department of Labour, Training and Employment, Assistant Director Rajesh Ekka said, “At the 2018 Skill Summit, Chief Minister Raghubar Das had said that till January 12, 2019 the government will provide one lakh employment to the youths of the State. The Department of Labour, Training and Employment has got a target to provide jobs to 12,000 jobs to the youths of the state.”
Ekka further said, “The department has organised the employment fair in various districts of State from time to time under the scheme. This time the department is going to organize the fair in at Industrial Training Institute, Hehal, in Ranchi. The department has completed all the preparation work for the fair as it has prepared the list of the companies which will take part in the fair and it has also prepared the list of candidates who have registered their name at employment exchanges. The department has informed the aspirant through bulk SMS system in adjoining areas of Ranchi and it has announced by loudspeakers in nearby Blocks of Ranchi. ”
“As many as 23 companies have given approval to come at the job fair for around 4,500 posts. Some companies can participate at the time of the fair. A large numbers of aspirants have been registered at the employment exchanges of the various districts. The interested unemployed can participate in interview with their original certificates, two copies of biodata and two passport size photos,” he added.
The department has provided some relaxation to those candidates who have not registered with exchange offices, “Registration at employment is compulsory but those candidates can also participate in the fair who have earlier not registered their name at the employment offices. The formality of registration will be completed at the registration counter install by the department at the fair.”
Ekka said, “The companies have offered for the various posts in the packages of Rs 3,000 to Rs. 25,000. The companies have also announced that they will give incentives other than package.
A numbers of jobs are being reserved for women also. Different eligibilities have been made for various posts from eight pass to graduate. The MBA degree holder and technical degrees like ITI, Engineering can participate in the fair.”
Informing about the companies name he said, “A numbers of renowned companies will participate in the fair including Eureka forbs, Sudha Motors, Ishan BPOs, Black Kobra Securities, Arvind Smart Textiles, PMF Engineering Limited Telangana, Exchange Private Limited Lucknow, Nirmaan Services Private Limited, Reliance Retail Limited, Ranchi, Nimbus BPO, CMC Mitconmega Skill Private Limited, Sewa Sahyog Security Facility Management Private Limited, Jamshedpur etc..”
