Haryana Government has directed all administrative secretaries to implement the decisions taken in the meeting of council of ministers pertaining to their departments and submit a status report.

The directions were issued after it was observed that the cabinet decisions were not being implemented by various departments.

In a letter from Chief Secretary’s office, it has been stated that the decisions taken by the meeting of council of ministers are not being implemented by the Administrative Departments despite the lapse of three months. The officers concerned are thus requested to implement the decision of cabinet meeting at the earliest and send the implementation report of the decisions of cabinet pertaining to their departments taken since January 2018, the letter stated.

“All of the incidents and occurrences in respect of both the employees may be made in prescribed manner. Also, separate comparative statement may be made for each case. The comparative statement so made should be certified by the Establishment Assistant or Superintendent and duly verified by the SAS personnel posted in the Department. The estimated financial implication involved may also be informed,” the Finance Department directed the secretaries.

In case at any later stage if it comes out that the benefit has been granted to an ineligible employee on the basis of wrong factual position, the entire onus thereof would be of preparer and verifier of the statement concerned, the administrative secretaries have been told.
