RPF man felicitated

Railway Protection Force constable Satyendra Singh saved the life of a woman, who fell from a running train and was trapped between the train and the platform on November 11 at Ranchi Railway Station. DRM VK Gupta today felicitated the RPF man with cash reward and a certificate. ADRM (Infra) Ajeet Singh Yadav, Sr DSO Maheshwar Singh and DPO Shriniwas were present on the occasion.

EPFOs portal for online claims

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPFO) has launched its online PF withdrawal portal making the process hassle free. Subscribers need to link their Adhar Card and Bank accounts with their Universal Account Numbers (UANs) and get a KYC approved by the employer. With hassle free withdrawal and reduced time processing, subscribers can track their claim status online. Online claims can be made for final settlement, pension withdrawal or part withdrawal of PF.

MECON cricket selection trial

The selection trials for MECON cricket team will be held at MECON Stadium on November 19 and 20. MECON Sports Club general Secretary Dr Vikas Kumar said that trial will begin at 9 AM in the morning. University, school, district and state level players can participate in the trial. The minimum age limit for the trial is 18 years. The selected players will get stipend from MECON.

Children’s Day at FMPS

First Mark Public School celebrated children’s day on Monday. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasmand and magnificence. Teachers took charge of the students’ roles by conducting the assembly which included the Morning Prayer and inspiring thoughts. There were a lot of games for the children. Director Kalpana Soren explained to the young children the   importance and significance of this special day. To make this day a beautiful memory Administrator  Pramod Kumar along with  the help of all teachers gave their effort so, that all the children go back home with happy memories.

Youth electrocuted in Garhwa

A 21 year old youth was electrocuted when he touched  a live electric wire, during connecting two wire at Kandi block Headquarter in Garhwa district in the early of Monday. According to police, Manish Kumar Ravi  (21)  was connecting to wire on the occasion of staged drama show, yoth received electric shock. Ravi suffered severe injuries and died while undergoing treatment at Kandi Government health centre. Kandi police registered case and took up investigation.

4 naxal supporters held

Lohardaga police arrested four naxal supporters on the information of zonal commander of a naxal organization Bhartiya Communist Party Ravindra Ganhju with his supporters in the jungle of Lohardaga and Latehar district. During the search operation three suspected persons arrested from Katat forest. The held persons were Ramdev Ganjhu, Banesh Nagesia and Neeraj Munda. The police recovered Codex wire, 3 mobiles, naxal pads and pamphlets. They were going to give the explosives to the Manoj Sahu son of Rajendra Sahu of Salagi Thana Kudu. The police also held Manoj Sahu later. The held criminals were charged with various acts in the police station.

Retired HEC employee and Gandhi Ashram member Mukhtaar Singh has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his efforts for the people of India. He said, “I am proud of Modi and his determination to make India a corruption free country. Modi is one of the most popular leaders all over the world. In just a few years he has introduced various schemes for the general public and also implemented them successfully. Gujarat has given many such heroes who have worked for the betterment of the country and its people.”
