Gandhi Nagar police have booked manager with national highway project for threatening of life and refusing to vacate rented house owned by a 70-year-old retired Lieutenant colonel at Abbas Nagar. The police have registered a case on Wednesday and started investigation.
Police said that the victim Swatantra Shrivasatava used to live in Pune and recently decided to move to his house in Lake Pearl Spring colony in Bhopal and accused agreed to vacate the house but later refused, abused and threatened the victim of life.
In his complaint victim stated that he bought the house in the year 2012 while he used to live in Pune and rented the house to the accused SK Dubey few months ago without entering into agreement with the accused.
Few days ago victim contacted the accused and asked him to vacate the house by October 15 which the accused agreed but later refused and threatened victim of life and told that the house has been sold after which the victim lodged a complaint with the Gandhi Nagar police.
The victim had rented the house to the accused without preparing a rent agreement.
The person who facilitated the renting of the house would be questioned said the police.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 448,294 and 506 of the IPC. During the investigation police team had gone to check whereabouts of the accused where it was found that the accused had gone to his native place to celebrate festival.
